Paint an outdoor barn quilt that will last. It can be used indoors as well. ACM only-wood is not used. You have your choice of doing a barn quilt with the Double Star stencil design or do a geometric design from the pattern board at class. Many design and color options the day of class. If you choose to do the Stencil option you will be provided with the Double Star stencil that you can keep and use on future barn quilts. The stencil will be used to mark your barn quilt. You will learn how to center it and use barn quilt stencils. Once you draw the design it is ready for you to mark colors and tape. Use this stencil over and over again for future barn quilts, quilts or projects! If you choose to do the Geometric option you can choose from a pattern board that has 48 design options. Options range from traditional and simple to complex. You will learn how to dissect a pattern and transfer it to the barn quilt blank. You will need to bring yellow Delicate Frogtape (1.41 width is best-it can be purchased at a hardware store), hair dryer and a heavy-duty extension cord.
