This course is designed to introduce basic concepts of quantitative EEG analysis aka brain mapping and neurofeedback for the identification and treatment of brain related disorders such as epilepsy, depression, anxiety, learning disorders, attentional disorders such as ADHD, oppositional behaviors, sensory processing issues and sleep disorders. Participants will participate in the brain mapping process, including their own if desired, and will be exposed to the reading and interpretation of their raw EEG data. The theory and application of neurofeedback will be presented, as well as examples of current EEG amplifiers, training software, and EEG research. Participants will be able to participate in a neurofeedback training session based on their EEG brain maps, as well as observe other participants undergoing training.
