Learn about Shibori, the ancient Japanese art of dyeing with indigo. In class learn about indigo vats, folds, and various binding techniques. There will be a demonstration with various fold and binding techniques, and you will have an opportunity to dip your items multiple times. A small tote bag or apron will be provided for you to Shibori dye and take home. Bring a 100% cotton t-shirt to class to Shibori dye. Wash the shirt at home prior to class but do not use a fabric softener.
