This course provides an introduction to the concepts and skills required for intravenous administration within the EMT scope of practice. Includes manikin and live IV practice. The class consists of two classroom lecture nights: Dec. 2nd and Dec. 3rd from 7-10:30pm and two skills nights: Dec 9th & 11th from 7-10:30pm. Attendance at all sessions is required. This class is open to EMTs and to people who have successfully completed the EMT class. Current EMT students are not eligible. Students can be fully reimbursed by the State.
Reimbursement requests must be submitted 14 days prior to course start date.
