Come make and learn about the quilt blocks that were used to signal passengers on the Underground Railroad. These traditional blocks are pieced with traditional and new techniques. Students will learn how to make one block each night and place them together with sashing.
This is a 3-part series, but each session can be taken individually; one is not required to have the previous class in the series. Each session, a small project will be created which can be a wall hanging or table runner. The projects from these sessions can be combined to become a throw size quilt.
Basic sewing and cutting skills are required. Required supply list will be provided upon registration.
