Attendees will learn techniques and tips for photographing the night sky and should bring the following: o Camera, tripod, wide angle lens (Such as a kit lens 18-SSmm or prime lens 8mm-35mm with large aperture) and several charged batteries. o Appropriate attire, including boots, for a June evening in the pasture. o Snacks and soft drinks o Blanket and bug spray. Haneline said arriving at Enders while there is still daylight will allow for instruction on basic set up. In addition, there also may be time to shoot some macro images before sunset. Throughout the night, Haneline also will continually advise the participants and guiding them to successful images ofthe Milky Way. The event will last until midnight. "This will allow for the Milky Way to get vertical and expose the Galactic Core in full," Haneline said.
