Learn how to use your smoker to make amazing tasting food! With this meat smoking class you will learn about differences when smoking a variety of dishes while also learning the differences of smoking meats - whole turkey, poultry, brisket, pork shoulder, etc. You will also learn the techniques of hot smoking vs. cold smoking, how to season meat when smoking, and receive a booklet of tips, seasonings, and recipes. This class will focus on the use of a charcoal grill/smoker but will also compare to the differences of using an electric. Samples of cold smoked cheeses and hot smoked meat will be brought in for examples and taste testing.
